Principles
Tim is an associate attorney at Bruno Law. Tim was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley and graduated from Bangor Area High School. Tim’s grandmother who lived with him as a child, Grammy Plewak, instilled the importance of getting an education and helping others. As an attorney, Tim prioritizes taking the time to listen and understand his clients’ issues and concerns in order to strengthen the attorney-client relationship. He believes in giving his clients straightforward legal advice and fights for his clients both in and out of the courtroom.
Areas of Practice
Tim’s primary area of practice is personal injury, including automobile accidents, trucking accidents, construction accidents, medical malpractice, slip and fall, nursing home neglect, and workers’ compensation. Tim has experience assisting clients with personal injury matters resulting in death, amputations, traumatic brain injuries, fractures, nerve damage, and soft tissue injuries.
Tim also has experience in handling civil litigation such as contract disputes, collections, real estate disputes, and wills and estates.
Education/Experience
Tim graduated Cum Laude from Drexel University receiving a B.S. in Business Administration. While attending Drexel University, Tim worked for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and then at a law firm in Center City Philadelphia. In 2011, Tim was given the opportunity to move to Florida to help develop and manage a newly opened law firm. Tim attended Stetson University College of Law part-time while continuing to work at the law firm full-time and received his Juris Doctor degree Cum Laude in 2016. In addition to graduating with honors, Tim was an Editor of the Stetson Journal of Advocacy and the Law, selected to be a member of the Stetson Law Honors Program, received the William F. Blew Pro Bono Service Award, and was awarded a scholarship from the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Florida Chapter Endowed Scholarship Fund.
Tim was admitted to practice law in Florida in 2016 and both Pennsylvania and New Jersey in 2017. He is also admitted to practice before the Federal courts in the United States Southern District of Florida (2016), the United States Middle District of Florida (2016), the United States Northern District of Florida (2017), the United States District of New Jersey (2018), the United States Eastern District of Pennsylvania (2018), the United States Middle District of Pennsylvania (2018), and the United States Western District of Pennsylvania (2018).
Tim has litigated cases in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Florida. He has litigated cases in the Courts of Common Pleas throughout eastern and central Pennsylvania including the counties of Northampton, Lehigh, Monroe, Berks, Bucks, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Delaware, Chester, Lancaster, Schuylkill, Carbon, Luzerne, Pike, Lackawanna, Wayne, Susquehanna, Bradford, Lebanon, and Dauphin. Tim has written appellate briefs submitted to the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania and the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. He also has litigated cases throughout the state of New Jersey in Chancery courts and Municipal courts.
